Technically, the Electronic Entertainment Expo hasn’t even opened its doors yet, but even still, Sunday and Monday delivered press events from Microsoft, Sony and other video game publishers offering a peek into the future of the video game industry.
So far, Microsoft announced X BOX ONE Slim, a smaller console, and hinted at Project Scorpio, which also means Xbox will soon expand to VR, catching up to its rival Sony and their PlayStation VR. Looking forward to how they incorporate the VR hardware (Oculus partnership?) and how much will the box cost. Read more here.
Too many exciting game trailers to count. The new God of War saw one of the meanest characters from the previous game act really patient with his kid, while also teaching him to kill. The new stories that are being told look to be extraordinary in the games coming out, such as the elegance of The Last Guardian.
We also got a look at the new Star Wars Battlefront game featuring content from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, an action adventure from EA Motive, and a second action game from Respawn Entertainment, the creators of Titanfall. All unfortunately launch a long time from now, but cool to get a glimpse.
