Press play:

This week, in NEW episode of IGL Podcast, Justin and Michael investigate a mystery box (special thanks to Mike and Carol in Connecticut!) whose contents sure to warm any nostalgic gamer’s heart: an original Atari console, controllers, and a slew of games.

This is the grandaddy of modern gameplay and a necessary acquisition for any retro gaming enthusiasts. The original Atari, Inc, from whence the Atari console sprang, was founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney (members of a squad of pioneers in arcade games, home video game consoles, home computers, etc). The company’s products, such as Pong and the Atari 2600 (check out the video below!), helped define game entertainment industry from the 1970s to the mid-1980s.
